We received wonderful word that Cruz had full a/c in A, B, and C yards, with D to start shortly. The emails are somewhat funny, in that most post “It’s FREEZING in here!” and “I had to unpack my thermals, LOL!”. Reportedly, contractors are working at “a feverish ” pace to get a/c in B, C, and D yards on Lumley. Congratulations gals!!!!

I am so happy for Brittany Zamora and her friends at Santa Cruz. They can finally relax and enjoy.
it’s still 90-98 in the individual cells at Cruz. At least in C yard. Windows were made ready for the retrofit of a/c units that are expected to be installed in October, so now there is more heat coming in. The cooling tents are up and working, but they can’t sleep or be locked down in there. Baby steps for sure.
