As reported by the Arizona Republic on Oct 2nd, Naphcare training guides, posted online some inmates’ images, name, medications, and diagnosis, visible to anyone with a browser. ACLU attorneys found this while researching medical record systems used by state prisons. If the privacy breach affects more than 500 patients, federal law requires Naphcare to publicly report it. ACLU demanded the website be taken down immediately, and told the DOC to respond within a week detailing steps to address the issue.
