If passed, the bill will ban forced induction, guarantee prenatal care, establish quality standards for feminine hygiene products, and ban strip searches by the opposite gender. This legislation was introduced by Rep. Athena Salman and Sen. Eva Burch. Rep. Salman said, “Our bill will ban forced inductions, in addition to solidifying crucial protections for women in prison.”
